Kayakers of the Hunter Valley & Lake Macquarie

A little more relaxed than the previous video. Just enjoyable memories of great places a Kayak can get you.

Gday Selim

Up near the Sanitarium factory. You take the left turn when the creek splits in two (going upstream). Nice bit of water.

Looks like the one on the Murray river just south of Mandurah.

The bridge is still there. This is the replacement for the one that got washed away.
Clue .. what is the name of the creek?

Thanks Henry can see my mistake. A suspension bridge who'd have thought it there.

The term lipes still eludes me. Is it that the bridge has been washed away.??

The mystery will be solved. You should see a window called layers on your screen. This is where you turn on or off what you want or don't want to see on Google Earth. In the Layers screen you will see +"Geographic Web" and others, just click on the + symbol and click in the box called Panoramio. This will show you all the photos that people have taken all over the place. As you zoom into an area these will pop up everywhere, just hold your mouse over one of them and you should see a title display. If you want to look at the photo then click it.
Now the mystery will be solved. ;-)

No Sorry Henry I am using Google Earth but I don't see any Blue squares. So it still remains a mystery to me. But thats OK we all need a little a mystery in our lives.

I am using an Apple Imac which might have different maps or display options?
Cheers
Bill.
