After another session with Rob Mercer the other week I am finally starting to get a more consistent roll and nailed 9 out of 9 the other day at the end of my paddle. Pretty stoked with that. Now to try it out in the surf and continue refining it!

Brad, As my dear old grandmother used to tell me a long time ago, "practice makes perfect"; and boy, did I get some practice that Umina weekend.

You're being a bit hard on yourself Owen. After the Umina camp, I'm convinced you are the best wet-exiter in the klan.

The signwriting on the Leopard's bum comes up really well in the roll. Maybe some enterprising, competant roller could cut a sponsorship/advertising gig with some progressive company. On reflection, maybe I should persue this, as my roll means that the sponsor's message would stay exposed much longer, ie, until someone arrives to rescue me!
