Welcome aboard Dave,
No problem with science teachers here, some have changed my direction in life, for which I'm very grateful.
Brad in my experience, the term sleeper cell usually refers to a group of science students embedded in an accounting class as part of a lab management subject. :)
Aha Owen - you have discovered our plan! The science teachers of Newcastle will first take over this website and then - we will go back to our beakers and Bunsens.
Welcome Dave - from a fellow science chalkie at HSHS
G'day Dave and welcome aboard. Is that a Greenland Paddle I see? I reckon just about all of our group paddles are fairly sedate and even the longest has only been about 20 Km (and that includes stops for morning coffee then lunch); the pace is always determined by the paddler at the rear. Hope to meet you soon.
Welcome Dave.
Now I'm getting alarmed. Is "science teacher" a secret code for some sort of sleeper cell?

About Me:
Was browsing the website after my friend, Steve Roundsley told me about it. I liked the photos of the places visited and wouldn't mind going there myself. perhaps on one of the next organised (sedate) paddles??
PS I'm also a Science teacher...is that a problem??
PPS: How is the Mermaid seakayak going Arn? ...I sold (with some regret) my old Natureline Mermaid seakayak to Arn
