Let's see how many klanners we can get in there next year. I won't be a member of the NSWSKC next year so I might put myself down as a Kayak Klan member instead. It would be good to paddle it together and share the pain.

G'day Anne,

hope the you all go in it next year! I'll be there rain, hail, or shine. Unfortunately, this year developed a nauseating migraine (I actually felt pretty crook when you and Simon were passing by Sean Smith (aka Fat Paller) and me), so I wasn't talking much. Had to withdraw at the 31km mark when I started to slur my speech. Really dissapointed. Guessing you've done the HCC a few times? That was my fourth go. Made up for the poor distance by raising over $11,000, which made me feel a bit better.

Looking forward to some paddling trips with the Klanners. Also hoping to learn some kayaking skills because I'm still a recreational hack.
