Pelican Cases and Torches

Hi All,

As of yesterday, Domayne (and by extension, I), became distributors for Pelican tough cases and torches. These are very tough submersible products for the military and trades. Of interest to kayakers are the small waterproof tough cases that are great fro First Aid kits, mobile phones etc. They have caribiners on them as well.
The torches are awesome and are tougher than maglites as well as deep submersible.

They are good cases, we have a lot of them at work. The warranty is awesome. It's a limited lifetime warranty covering pretty much everything except the following, Shark bite, (fair enought that one), Bear attack, (yup OK with that too) and last but not least those fearsome and destructive forces of nature....................children under five !

And they honour it. We've had three instances of latches failing due to rough handling and airport carousels, bare in mind that we would have forty or fifty of these cases in service and that these are cases that have been in service for a decade or more. If luggage could join frequent flyer programs, they'd be off on a round the world trip on points. One call to Pelican and they send out replacement parts no question asked. Once case needed a whole new lid. It came in the post too, no questions, no ifs, no buts. They are an outstanding company to deal with. Highly recommended.
