The wind forecast for tomorrow could make for an interesting day - especially for the racers in their K1s, Flashes etc. I'm very glad I'm paddling a big, safe and stable Mirage!

Just a little reminder of this great day out in aid of a very worthy charity. Entries for any of the 3 races are available through the Paddle NSW site, or just come along on the day to enjoy a good day out. http://www.paddlensw.org.au/myall.html

I am paid up and signed in for this one. Mixed doubles with Anne. My training continues Anne and have my diet sorted now which I found out was causing me some grief hence part of my struggle on the last paddle. Raring to go now!

Graeme & Leo, Welcome back to the colonies. No doubt we'll soon see a Kayaking in Scotland report, penned by your good selves, in the very near future

Simon, Whilst I normally only fulfill the roles of Coach, Manager, Mentor and Sponsor of the "Kombined Klan's River Racing Kollective", in this event I shall also be a Kompetitor, (albeit in the shorter fun race). Henry will also be there helping out with the organising, as he usually does.
The warm weather will be here by then and it would be great if we had a good Klan turn out, even if its just to watch, support/sympathise/advise the Kompetitors, give the family a day out, maybe have a bit of a casual paddle, etc.

So are we booked in coach? I believe it is the coaches responsibility to attend to such menial matters thereby allowing the athletes to concentrate on more important matters.

You will be happy to know I have a 30km training blast set up for Sunday afternoon.

Come on Klanners - anyone else up for it.

Usually help out on the weekend, a worthwhile cause.

Simon, The 47km Myall Classic would be good practice. The Queen Mary awaits. (Owen will take his M580 in the 24km event)

Anne you up for the 47km's? It certainly would be good prep for the Hawkesbury.
